Why do I freeze on weekends with ADHD?
Weekend paralysis happens because the structure of work is gone and the day becomes a blank canvas. ADHD brains struggle with open time. The fix is to give the weekend light structure: a few anchor times and one priority, not a packed schedule.

Unstructured time is a trap
During the week, work provides external structure. On the weekend, that disappears. The ADHD brain has to generate its own structure, which is expensive. Without it, the day dissolves into scrolling and guilt.
Two anchor times, one priority
Pick two times: when you get up, and when you do one thing. Then pick one priority for the day — just one. The rest is flexible. This gives enough structure without rigidity.
Plan Sunday before Saturday
A five-minute Sunday plan for the next week prevents Monday dread from ruining the weekend. Write the first task of Monday, not the whole week.
