Questions people ask

Short answers about how Spark works, what it costs and how to stop paying if it isn't for you.

What does Spark actually do?+

You tell Spark what you're stuck on and it gives you one small step you can start right now. When you finish it, the next step is ready. It's not a to-do list — you only ever see one thing at a time.

Do I need to set anything up?+

No. You type the thing you're avoiding and you get a step. The short setup when you first sign in only asks what time of day you want a nudge.

What does it cost?+

Spark is $9 a month, or $90 a year. If you arrived from one of our ads there may be a reduced first month; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

What happens after the discounted first month?+

It renews at the normal $9 a month. Nothing changes without you seeing it — we email you before the first full-price payment.

Can I try it before paying?+

Yes. You can run through a real task on the site and get your first step without paying or making an account.

How do I cancel?+

Open your account settings and choose the billing link — that opens your own billing page where you can cancel in one click. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Can I get a refund?+

If Spark didn't help and you email us within 14 days of paying, we refund you. No forms, no explanation needed.

Will you email me a lot?+

One nudge a day at the time you picked, plus the occasional account email. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and turning nudges off doesn't affect your account.

Is what I type private?+

Your tasks are yours. We don't sell them and we don't show them to anyone else. See the privacy page for the details.
